Making a Cancer Insurance Claim

If you’ve recently been diagnosed with cancer, please accept our sympathies at this difficult time. We’ll do everything we can to make things as easy as possible.

To make a Cancer Insurance claim, just follow these simple steps.

Step 1: Contact us

Call us on 13 77 87 to let us know you'll be making a claim.

Please note that we are closed on public holidays. You can send us an email using our enquiry form and we will respond to you during operating hours.

 

Your responsibilities when dealing with us:
We all deserve to feel safe and to be treated with respect. When you contact us, you can always expect our staff to provide helpful and respectful service. We also ask that you are respectful of our staff as we don’t accept abusive, threatening or violent behaviour.

Step 2: Send us the details

When you're ready, please send us the following documents:

  1. A completed Claim Form



  2. A recent copy of radiology or histology confirming your condition

Please note that documents provided must be in English.

We will contact you to let you know how your claim is progressing. If there are other people insured on your policy we’ll update it and send out new policy documents once your claim is processed.

We know that adjusting to cancer is never easy, but there is help available. If you’d like to talk to someone about what you’re going through, you can call the Cancer Council support line on 13 11 20 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, or Lifeline 24 hours a day on 13 11 14.

If you’re experiencing financial difficulties, Centrelink may also be able to help you. For more information, call Centrelink on 13 28 50.
