Australia Post $100 Gift Card Offer


InsuranceLine in conjunction with Australia Post is extending its offer of a $100 gift card / cash offer to new customers who purchase an InsuranceLine policy under these terms of offer.  InsuranceLine is a trading name of TAL Direct Pty Limited ABN 39 084 666 017 AFSL 243260 of Level 16, 363 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000.  The following terms and conditions apply to the $100 Gift Card Offer. 


1.1 The InsuranceLine $100 Gift Card Offer commences for new customers only on Monday 2nd June  at 00:01 AM (AEDT) and has been further extended to conclude on Wednesday 31st  December 2014 at 23:59 PM (AEDT) (the “Offer Period”).

1.2 To receive the $100 Gift Card, the customer is to purchase a new policy by Wednesday 31st December, 2014, pay the premiums for and receive cover for the first 2 months of the new policy (“$100 Gift Card Offer”).

1.3 InsuranceLine is solely responsible for making, administering and fulfilling the offer.  Neither of the insurers issuing the insurance policies is responsible for any aspect of this $100 Gift Card Offer.

1.4 InsuranceLine reserves the right to extend the Offer Period.  If the  Offer Period is extended by InsuranceLine, a new or revised set of terms and conditions will be published on the InsuranceLine website at

1.5 This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

1.6 By sending an SMS with your full name to 0447017017 you will receive a call from an InsuranceLine representative with further information about Income Protection. Standard text message costs apply and charges may vary and are applicable to the customer's plan/ carrier.


2.1 Australian residents who are eligible to take out and be covered under a new InsuranceLine insurance policy, for themselves and/or another eligible adult.

2.2 To take out a policy, customers will need to provide sufficient information for InsuranceLine to successfully add the name, age and genuine contact address/es and telephone number/s of the person/s making the enquiry to its database for the purposes of providing a premium quote for insurance cover, administering this Offer and for making future marketing offers unless you tell us otherwise.  Information is collected and may be used by InsuranceLine in accordance with its Privacy Policy which is available on the InsuranceLine website at

2.3 Employees and their immediate families of InsuranceLine, the insurers, agencies, companies and related bodies corporate associated with the Offer are eligible to enter by complying with these terms and conditions.

2.4 InsuranceLine accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected $100 Gift Card Offer enquiries, including enquiries not received by InsuranceLine or delays in the delivery of enquiries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

2.5 Incomplete, non-genuine and incomprehensible enquiries will be deemed invalid by InsuranceLine and ineligible for the $100 Gift Card Offer.

2.6 The $100 Gift Card Offer is not open to existing InsuranceLine customers or policyholders.


3.1 Having qualified for the $100 Gift Card Offer as set out in Part 2, the primary Policy Owner of each InsuranceLine Insurance policy issued with a Policy Commencement Date up to and including Wednesday 31st December 2014 will receive a $100 Gift Card as specified below in the section titled $100 Gift Card Details once premiums have been received by InsuranceLine and cover provided for the first 2 months.

3.2 The “Policy Commencement Date” is the date cover commences under a policy as specified in the Policy Schedule sent to the primary Policy Owner as proof of the contract of insurance.


4.1 Once premiums have been received by InsuranceLine and cover has been provided for the first 2 months for each qualifying policy, a letter will then be delivered to the home address given to InsuranceLine for the primary Policy Owner.

4.2 The letter will include instructions on how to redeem the $100 Gift Card offer in an Australian Post store, including a barcode.

4.3 The offer can only be redeemed in a participating Australia Post store, using photographic identification.

4.4 The customer has the option of receiving a Gift Card to the value of $100 of one of the participating brands, or of taking $100 in cash.

4.5 InsuranceLine takes no responsibility for the claim letter being damaged, lost, stolen or misdirected in transit.

4.6 InsuranceLine is not responsible for the cancellation of all or any part of the $100 Gift Card.

4.7 InsuranceLine reserves the right to change any part of the $100 Gift Card Offer at any time.


5.1 InsuranceLine reserves the right to request recipients of $100 Gift Card Offer to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated delivery address and/or proof of offer eligibility in order to claim $100 Gift Card Offer.  Proof of identification, residency and eligibility considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of InsuranceLine.  In the event that suitable proof cannot be provided, the $100 Gift Card Offer will be forfeited in whole and no substitute offer will be made.

5.2 InsuranceLine reserves the right to disqualify anyone who tampers with the offer eligibility process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who has, in InsuranceLine’s opinion, engaged in conduct in entering the $100 Gift Card Offer which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of InsuranceLine.

5.3 If, for any reason, this $100 Gift Card Offer is not capable of running as planned, including due to computer technical failures; fraud; delays in fulfilling material obligations where such delay is due to industrial action, fire, flood, war, public disaster, delay in transportation; or other causes beyond the control of InsuranceLine, which affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this offer, InsuranceLine reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the $100 Gift Card Offer to the extent permissible by law.

5.4 Any decision of InsuranceLine is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.5 InsuranceLine and its associated agencies and related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), cost, expense, damage, misadventure, accident, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this $100 Gift Card Offer, or from accepting or using any gift card, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

5.6 Subject to any restrictions at law, the liability of InsuranceLine howsoever arising is limited to the total value of the relevant gift card.

5.7 InsuranceLine may very these terms and conditions at any time. Any variations will be displayed on the InsuranceLine website.

5.8 These terms and conditions are to be governed by New South Wales law.
